Hi,
I’m Gemma, Matt’s Dental Assistant here at Accent.
I qualified as a dental nurse in the UK in 2011 and worked in specialist, private and NHS clinics in my home country.
I have been lucky enough to travel over the last 5 years, and was able to continue working in the dental industry as a temp nurse in both Australia and then here in New Zealand.
A keen interest of mine is cosmetic dentistry, so it was a great opportunity to join the Accent Team full time in Feb 2020 after temping for them for 6 months.
Assisting Matt and being a part of our patient’s journey to help achieve a smile they feel happy and confident with is very rewarding.
When not at work, I like to spend time with my fiancé and with friends, taking camping and hiking trips around the country, relaxing at the back or dining out in Auckland.
